There are stunning golden shoreline ribbons all over the world, encircled by pristine oceans. These seven beaches are the most stunning in the world if you’re looking for more than simply a spot to enjoy the sun.
Vietnam’s Paradise Beach Resort in Mui Ne
Mui Ne offers the ideal balance of leisure and action, making it a beach lover’s paradise. This popular destination in southeast Vietnam is home to a row of upscale (but reasonably priced) resorts with exclusive beach access.
But Mui Ne’s bowl-shaped fishing boats, which bob in the shallow sea, are the most unusual sight you’ll see there. Keep an eye out for these vibrant blobs scattered throughout the beaches, or visit the fishing village to witness them in action. Take a ride if you’re feeling adventurous.
Ipanema Beach, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Rio’s famous Ipanema Beach is like walking onto the set of a Brazilian reality TV show. Skimpy swimwear is worn by both men and women as they pass. Regular beach sellers offer everything from sarongs and bikinis (pictured) to coconuts. Intense beach volleyball or football matches are also common.
Rio’s playground is Ipanema and the nearby Copacabana Beach. You can choose to observe the performance or take part.
San Josef Bay, British Columbia, Canada

San Josef Bay offers an authentic, hands-on trip if that’s what you’re looking for. It is situated on untamed Vancouver Island and is accessible via a leisurely 1.6-mile stroll.
A sweep of champagne-colored sand, jagged cliffs, budding trees, and views of the azure water await you. For a picnic with a view, this location is ideal.
Flamingo Beach, Renaissance Island, Aruba

You could imagine you’re in the midst of a Wes Anderson Caribbean fever dream as you lie on your sun lounger on the beautiful sands of this Aruba private beach. Then you see an iridescent coral-pink flamingo between the palm trees and the glistening blue water. And still another, and still another.
Flamingo Beach is the name given to this area of the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort for a reason. This is the reason you should reserve your day pass well in advance.
Sirena Beach, Cuba

It’s simple to understand why travelers traveling from Havana frequent this Cuban bolthole. Beach football goal posts are scattered across the pristine white sand, which is clogged by palms.
The most popular activity here is sunbathing, but kayaking is another way to enjoy the calm waters. Additionally, there is a laid-back restaurant for refreshments.
Benagil Cave, the Algarve, Portugal

Benagil Cave, located in Portugal’s Algarve, is a great place to visit because of its domed ceiling, natural skylight, and sand pocket. While some daring swimmers swim around from adjacent Benagil Beach, it’s better to take one of the guided cruises that depart from Carvoeiro.
You will also be given access to a number of other caverns that are scattered around the shore.
Phra Nang Beach, Krabi, Thailand

The limestone cliffs at Phra Nang Beach in Krabi, which plunge into an emerald sea, are simply breathtaking. That it is only reachable by boat adds to its uniqueness. It’s a 30-minute paddle through cave tunnels to get to this secluded bay; rent a kayak from neighboring Railay Beach West.
Another must-see is Princess Cave on the beach. Surprisingly, it is filled with carvings of phallic shapes, which fisherman frequently leave as presents to a goddess in the hopes that she will grant them safe passage.
